The workshop lasts seven full intensive days and includes several lectures on the theology and history of the icon.
The student will complete one icon (board preparation, gesso, egg-tempera paint, gilding) in the course of the class.
The icon workshop is limited to 15 students.
Most materials are provided.
No experience necessary.
Our instructor is master iconographer Heather McKean.
